College Consulting

I taught high school for ten years, and now I enjoy working with teenagers via independent college consulting. A graduate of Yale, I work with students on an hourly basis so that I can provide exactly the range of services they’re looking for: some of my students just want a few hours of essay coaching, whereas some are looking for a project manager for the entire application process. My goal is to guide students to create applications that shine with their individual, authentic voices. The college process is complicated, but my experience will help guide you — and take out some of the stress!

Tutoring

I work with students to prepare for standardized tests. I’ve tutored extensively for the ACT, the SAT, the GRE, and AP exams.

I meet with students virtually on Zoom.

Writing Coaching

Have a great idea for a novel? Need a thorough edit on your manuscript? Writing an essay for an application?

I’m happy to work one-on-one with writers of all stripes. I have provided developmental edits for fiction projects, detailed proofreading for law journal articles, and everything in between. I love talking through the big picture of a project, but I’m also incredibly — some might say annoyingly? — detail-oriented.

I also have experience working as a ghostwriter and developing IP content. No project is too big or too small.
